Sourced from two vineyards from some of our longest partner relationships - both meeting the Clean-Crafted Commitment®. Planted in 1993 and 2005. 

Each vineyard harvested at night, by hand and sorted multiple times to select only the best fruit. 

The wine was fermented and aged briefly in stainless steel to maximize the bold fruit flavors of Cabernet before bottling under sustainable cork.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of a crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. This combined the best of both grapes, completed in the 1750s. Now, Cabernet Sauvignon is considered the world’s most popular wine grape variety!

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Zinfandel, 10% Merlot

Fruity and bold with notes of cherry, vanilla, black raspberry and a long fruit-forward finish. 

Maybe the most drinkable Cabernet we have made. Wines from Dove Hunt Dog are always approachable and ready for anytime – but this Cabernet – created in a warm, ripe vintage – brings together spectacular vineyard sources in a wine that is ready to drink now and will continue to improve for several years!
