Although Dove Hunt Dog wines are typically crafted without oak – the warm conditions of 2022 meant we picked early to prevent too high of alcohol or residual sugar.  Brief aging in oak, with the addition of Syrah in the blend, allowed the natural cherry flavors of the Pinot Noir to thrive, while maintaining a balanced and delicious profile!

Fruity and bold with notes of red and black cherries, baking, and exotic spices with a long, round finish. 

This may be the best vintage of Dove Hunt Dog Pinot Noir yet – for fans of a rich, fruit-forward Pinot Noir, packed with cherries and spice – this is the one for you! 

Pairs well with roasted duck, mushrooms, grilled fish.
