Clusters were picked by hand, allowing for only the ripest, healthies berries to be used in production.

Fermented by vineyard in stainless steel for 21 days with no malolactic fermentation. Aged in French oak for up to 9 months before blending and bottling.

Bottled under sustainable cork.  Unfined with gentle filtration.

French and American oak provide very different profiles when wine is aged in their barrels. French oak has tighter grooves in their staves and is considered more premium - doesn't give the overpowering flavor of American oak. Scout & Cellar uses French oak to give subtle, balanced oak notes! 

Earthy and creamy with notes of yellow apple, toasty oak, vanilla, and pear. 

Gallivant wines are known to reflect bold California winemaking, and this vintage of Chardonnay is a PRIME example. Rich, round, and creamy with toasted oak, caramel and apple, it’s a wonderful fall treat!
